I received my M.A. degree in Communication Strategies from the University of Padova (Italy) in 2020, discussing an experimental thesis about enhanced technological applications for Public Speaking training. Currently I am a research assistant in the Department of Linguistic and Literary Studies at the University of Padova.
I am interested in non-verbal communication from an intercultural standpoint. |
My research project is directed towards understanding facial expressions, body posture, gestures, voice variation, and other aspects of non-verbal communciation between people with different languages and cultural backgrounds. I’m focused on identifying and analyzing non-verbal signals in intercultural communication contexts, with a focus on the cues that lead to intercultural communication misunderstandings. |
