  CURRICULUM VITAE AND RESEARCH INTERESTS

In 2007 she achieved a B.A. in Foreign Languages and Literatures (Russian and English) at the University of Padua with a dissertation entitled Il ruolo di S. Karcevskij nel panorama linguistico degli inizi del ’900: tra Ginevra, Praga e Mosca [Karcevkij’s role in the linguistic scenario of the beginning of the 20th century between Geneva, Prague and Moscow] (Supervisors: Prof. R. Benacchio, Prof. R. Galassi).
In 2008 she achieved an M.A. in ‘Theory, methods and paths of the Italian Language and culture for foreign students’ at Tor Vergata University, Rome.
In 2013 she achieved a Ph.D. in Linguistic, Philological and Literary Sciences (Slavistics), University of Padua, with a dissertation entitled La categoria dell’aspetto verbale nel modo indicativo in russo e sloveno: usi e significati a confronto [The category of verbal aspect in the indicative mood in Russian and Slovene: a comparison of usages and meanings] (Supervisor: Prof. R. Benacchio).

During her doctoral studies her research was focused on the comparative analysis of verbal aspect in the Slavic languages, especially Russian and Slovene, with the aim of outlining the main features of the Slovene aspectual system, and, consequently, offering a contribution to the understanding of the mechanisms governing the use of aspect in Slavic languages. At present, in addition to her comparative research on aspect, she teaches Russian Language at the University of Padua and at CIELS (Padua). Since 2004 she has been a member of the Glossematic Circle, which practices the theory of the Danish linguist Louis Hjelmslev in its various domains of application, i.e. Semiotics, Philosophy of Language and Structural Linguistics.
