I received my M.A. degree in Communication Strategies from the University of Padova (Italy) in 2020, discussing an experimental thesis about enhanced technological applications for Public Speaking training.
I received a research scholarship from the University of Padova to work on the research project ‘Culture Migranti’ as part of the project Integration of Migrants through Policies and Actions Codesigned on the Territory (IMPACT), co-funded by the European Union through the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and the Italian Ministero del Lavoro e delle Politiche Sociali (Italian Ministry of Employment and Welfare).
My research project aimed at examining facial expressions, body posture, gestures, voice variation, and other aspects of non-verbal communciation between people with different languages and cultural backgrounds. By identifying and analyzing non-verbal signals in intercultural communication contexts, the focus of the project was detecting the non-verbal cues to lead to intercultural communication misunderstandings.
