Davide Del Bello is assistant professor of English at Bergamo University in Italy. He received his PhD in English and rhetoric from Northern Illinois University (US) and has written articles on rhetorical strategies at work both in literary criticism (Vico, Eco) and in literature (Shakespeare, Hawthorne). He recently published a monograph on etymology and allegory entitled Forgotten Paths: Etymology and the Allegorical Mindset, Washington D.C: Catholic University of America Press, 2007. |
