Patrick Williams


Patrick Williams, is Professor of Literary and Cultural Studies at Nottingham Trent University, UK. He has published widely on postcolonial theory and writing, cultural theory, and film. His work has been translated into Korean and Turkish. His publications include Colonial Discourse and Post-Colonial Theory (ed. with L. Chrisman, 1993); Post-Colonial Theory. A Critical Introduction (with Peter Childs, 1996); Ngugi wa Thiong’o (1999); Edward Said (2000); and Post-Colonial African Cinema (2007).
