FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS

We welcome papers related to (but not necessarily restricted to) the following topics:

• drama techniques in the language classroom;
• the role of improvisation in language learning;
• the challenges of full-scale drama production;
• fostering lexical competence through drama;
• engaging with culture through theatrical performance;
• theatre and intercultural competence.

Papers should be no longer than 20 minutes. The language of the seminar is English.

 Abstracts should be:

• between 250 and 300 words;
• accompanied by the title of the paper and contact details;
• submitted by e-mail as an attached document to fionaclare.dalziel@unipd.it with "abstract_theatre_2011" as the subject of the message.

Closing date for abstracts: 30 June, 2011. Notification of abstract acceptance: 20 July, 2011.
