LINGUISTICS AND APPLIED LINGUISTICS

The study of the morphological, syntactic and phonological structures of modern and ancient languages and Italian dialects; the study of linguistic change, with a particular focus on the languages, texts and cultures if ancient Italy; dialectology, also from the perspective of sociolinguistics and etymological research; neurolinguistics, above all as regards its relationship with a theoretical reflection on language; the relationship between linguistic theory and the leaching of languages, both modern and ancient.
